Refund & Termination Policy

This Refund & Termination Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for services provided by Oak & Owl. Because services involve reserving professional time and limited availability in advance, refund requests are evaluated according to the terms below.
1. GENERAL POLICY
Oak & Owl offers structured, time-bounded services. When a session or engagement is reserved, time is set aside exclusively for the client. As a result, refunds are limited and subject to the conditions described in this policy.
2. COMPLETED SESSIONS
No refunds will be issued for sessions that have already taken place. Once a session has been conducted, the service is considered delivered.
3. UNUSED SESSIONS
If an engagement ends before all sessions are delivered, Oak & Owl may consider issuing a partial refund for unused sessions. Refund decisions are made at the sole discretion of Oak & Owl and may take into account the portion of the engagement already completed.
4. ADMINISTRATIVE DEDUCTIONS
When a refund is issued, Oak & Owl may deduct a reasonable administrative fee reflecting preparation, scheduling, and administrative time already incurred.
5. TERMINATION OF SERVICES
Oak & Owl reserves the right to terminate services if continuation of the engagement becomes inappropriate, if the services requested fall outside the scope of the practice, or if circumstances prevent the engagement from proceeding productively.
6. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Clients agree to contact Oak & Owl directly regarding any concerns about billing or refunds before initiating a chargeback through a payment processor or financial institution. By purchasing services, the client acknowledges that they have read and agreed to this Refund & Termination Policy and understand that refunds are governed by the terms described herein. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the matter directly may constitute a breach of these terms.
7. POLICY CHANGES
Oak & Owl may update this Refund & Termination Policy from time to time. The most current version will be posted on the website with an updated effective date.
